I agree with another user... What happened?:
I was first introduced to 1515 Restaurant from an advertisement on www.djemir.com it quickly became my hangout earlier in the year. They had good burgers and a very friendly bar staff. But what really got me was they had great DJs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I eventually tried their restaurant which I must admit was very delectible if not a little pricey. The steak was my favorite from their menu. I was quite impressed by their glass wine display case and their service (the first few times, this would change later on)

I made this one of my occasional stops every weekend. Then little by little the great DJs they had all left and were replaced by mediocre DJs playing mediocre music. What the hell happened to their good bar staff? They seem to have replaced everyone. And more importantly what the hell happened to their good DJs? Did they leave on their own? Or did the restaurant make a mistake and replace them with lower paid FREEJAYS? They used to be packed most of the night, now they usually are empty (and with good reason)

I quickly found out what had happened to DJ Emir, I guess he had moved next door to Oasis, but now he's even gone from there too. I already knew the Sunday night DJ they were using, Dangerous Dan can always be found at Jackson's on Fridays so I go and catch him there on occasion, but I don't know what happened to their Friday DJ Phanatik? Whatever the case may be, they should take a hard listen and find a few new DJs cause what they have now isn't going to cut it. My friends and I all feel the same way so for now we are going to try a few other places.

1515 Restaurant Restaurant Review:
The cuisine at 1515 Restaurant takes many of its cues from the modernist movement --- beginning with its contemporary cocktails, some of which have flourishes such as lavender foam or blackberry caviar. Diners have the option of ordering à la carte or selecting a multi-course tasting menu (six or eight courses) with optional wine pairings. Caprese salad gets a molecular twist with olive oil...

Fans of this "fancy" LoDo longtimer "can't get enough" of its "inventive" New American cuisine, matched with an "amazing" wine list by a "careful, attentive" staff in a "unique" two-story space; if the kitchen's "modern" molecular-gastronomy techniques feel merely "trendy" to some, all the better for those who appreciate a meal "priced for quality" in "quiet", "understated" surroundings.
