If you are seriously searching for employment, don't bother with ACT1, which also goes by the moniker AppleOne. Their staff is run by teen-agers who could not possibly care if you get a job. If you doubt this, stop by one of their offices, and you will be transported back to a high school setting. Take their tests (does not matter how well you score on them), watch their cutesy video on office safety, submit your educational credentials (college degree), get a polished sales-pitch, and then be told that the job you saw advertised is no longer hiring, but they "will keep you in mind" for other openings. You will then be told "Be sure to call-in once a week for availability" and after a few weeks, the receptionist will begin asking you to "spell your name again?", tell you (your agent) is either "unavailable" or is "on another line", etc.
Just be thankful that you do not pay any money up-front with these clowns.
