The museum houses around 200 paintings from the collection of Russian-born artist Nicholas Roerich to whom the museum is dedicated. The paintings are mostly depictions of nature scenes from the Himalayas The museum also hosts a number of cultural events throughout the year featuring concerts up-and-coming musicians and poetry readings.
