How All My Sons Stole Christmas From Us In 2015:
Watch out for bait and switch offers from All My Sons - nail down anything the sales agent tells you when you agree and place a deposit. I trusted them my first time using them, and they screwed my family over so hard it scarred our 2015 Christmas holiday.

We began shopping for movers in November of 2015, for a short (40-50 minute) move from Broward County to Palm Beach County.

We had a checklist of things we needed in a moving company, including a payment plan option (since it was Christmas, and money was tight). After calling several moving companies to get estimates and weed out the undesirables, we spoke to someone at All My Sons corporate, who transferred us to a local representative here in South Florida to get started.

The local sales rep said all the right things, answered all my questions in (what I assumed was) an honest and open tone, confirmed that accounting would "be able to help [us]" with payment plans the day of the move.

He read back all the specs for our apartment and the new apartment (2 bedroom, 1 bath, 2nd story unit, 40-50 minute drive to the new unit), and he estimated that with an apartment that size it would run us $360-$420 to hire them to move our furniture for a few hours - that price supposedly included 2 hours for his team to handle packing and unpacking, a half hour before and after the gig for his team to return to their office, fuel and the cost of the vehicle. In other words, all inclusive.

He did advise us that if they ran over, it would be an additional $90 per hour. We were okay with that, we busted a@s to move all the heavy furniture out and made it easy to carry out and down the staircase.

Then it all went to hell the day of the move.

The team arrived on time, they were courteous but once they came up stairs and read through the assignment on their clipboard, they became vocal and angry about something, talking to each other in disbelief, and then left the apartment to call in to "speak with corporate."

The team came back after a few minutes, and the team leader apologized for the confusion, they got started and he said that corporate should have assigned 3 people for a job this size, not the 2 he had to work with, given the specs the sales rep had written and quoted us on. I was unnerved, but didn't see any reason to worry - if labor ran up, we'd make ends meet over a few months on a payment plan.

Long story short - the move took longer than the 2 hours the sales rep estimated originally. The team mentioned multiple times that they should have had 3 movers assigned to the job to get the job done in that time, but that there was no approval from his superiors to bring in more labor to help.

Then they screwed us over when we got to the new apartment and the team leader put accounting on the phone:

They wanted $710+ for the move, since the team of movers look longer than expected to carry out the job (which wouldn't have happened if corporate had assigned the correct number of workers to the team, as the team lead mentioned multiple times). And they wouldn't honor any kind of payment plan. The account rep (I don't remember her name) said that it was against company policy to do payment plans, that their sales reps would never agree to something like that (yeah, because sales reps don't lie through their teeth to close a deal and hit their numbers), and that they needed the entire $710+ before they would give us back all our furniture.

We had a few hundred put back for Christmas gifts, in addition to the $450 we'd saved up to cover the agreed upon estimate and some tips, but we then had to explain to friends and family that we had no savings left for Christmas gifts in 2015, thanks to some sales rep at All My Sons.

I am not a competitor - I am not a troll - I am one consumer that All My Sons should never have screwed over. I'm an internet marketer, and in the spirit of the holidays I'd like to gift every review site I know of with this sad tale of how All My Sons stole Christmas from my friends and family in 2015.
