Working with Alpha and Omega has been a nightmare. He has taken a vast majority of the funds for the contract but has not performed more than 35% of the work (I'm being generous) in a month. He doesn't show up for days at a time and is not responsive to calls and or messages. The work he has done thus far is shoddy at best. He does not adhere to timelines. He sent an unskilled apprentice to complete a bathroom demolition. This apprentice has been in school for two months and though well meaning, damaged a pipe in the property causing a leak. Tom has made no effort to resolve the plethora of issues and continues to drag his feet on the project despite having a large sum of project funds. In addition to the poor workmanship and lack of communication, I have found Tom to be dishonest. Mid project, he attempted to change the terms of the agreement and add costs even though the project scope remained the same. As I realized the project would not progress timely, I asked that Tom not enter the property until I was present so he could give me the keys and retrieve his tools. He subsequently entered the property without permission which I find concerning.
