Do not rent, run away:
If you are considering signing a lease with any of the multiple Templeton Property Management properties please do yourself a favor and run away. I lived at Anderson Estates for a year and a couple days. It was my first apartment and I needed a place fast. I signed the lease and I did the initial walk. Various things stood out, multiple paint drips all over the apartment, very cheap and thin paint all over, it almost seems like they use the cheapest materials possible and try to cut corners at all times. Cuts in the vinyl that were glued back, old carpet, etc. You get the idea.

Any time I wanted to reach the office I had to play phone tag and it was impossible to reach anyone at the office that was in charge of Anderson Estates. Kirsten in the office was the only one who was friendly and helpful whenever I could reach her. Unfortunately Elizabeth who is the head of the office was always a displeasure to deal with, does not know how to deal with people and has this air of arrogance around her.

I renewed my lease with them but I had to leave days after signing the contract. To cancel the lease I had to pay a month and a half worth’s of rent, which I promptly paid with no issue since it was stated in the contract. The problem was when I did the exit walk of the apartment. In the very small kitchen area there is about a 3 * 5 area of vinyl that had a around a 6 x 6 inch cut that was glued down like the other 2 that were in the apartment. Elizabeth claimed that I would be responsible since it was not noted in the initial walk, which is true. I accepted that but I asked her for previous history of the apartment to show that this wasn’t already reported. She of course refused. I sent her various emails before I got my check and when I got it the repair for that 6x 6 inch cut, and over all area of 3 x 5 was charged at $200, along with other high amount charges like drip pans that were a bit dirty for $20 replacement, etc. I emailed her once again asking for receipts, proof and what not but I have not heard back. As of writing this review its been about 2 weeks since I got the check.

I know I’m not gonna get my money back but I wanted to let people know about this property and management company that is cheap, will nickel and dime you, and you will have a hard time contacting. Unless of course you owe them money or its in their interest to contact you. Also do yourself a favor and google “Templeton property management” and you will see I’m not the only one with a horrible experience.
