My dog was hit by a car in Morton Mississippi. I drove all the way to this clinic to have him treated. My sister was willing and able to pay the bill over the phone with her info but they refused. My dog was taken back and I was refused access until they got money. They told me he would not receive treatment until I paid up front. When I finally got money to pay half of the $550-$600 they wanted they told me he would have to be treated by his regular vet. This payment was only for blood tests x rays pain meds and the office visit. I managed to get out of there with my dog medicated for pain and a receipt for $145. They did inform me that his jaw was broken. I had to drive him to Lincoln Alabama where my sister drove us to ANOTHER emergency clinic in Anniston, Alabama. There he was immediately diagnosed with a concussion and broken teeth. His jaw is NOT broken. He was admitted for care and the bill was paid when we got him back! Jackson Mississippi Animal Emergency Clinic should be CLOSED!!! They should change the name to Incompetents Misdiagnosing Animals. I give them a -10 stars
