I called the clinic and they said they could see my cat. When I arrived at the clinic I overheard people saying you can't go back with your pet. I thought this was strange. The receptionist said your cat has to stay overnite in order for the vet to see her. She was pracically yelling accross a crowded waiting area. I told her I will talk to the vet. I assumed I would get a chance to speak with him I had never been there before. Boy was I wrong. The receptionist came back and said he will have to keep her overnite and we need her records. I was baffled it was never mentioned to me to bring records before I drove all this way. I told her that it was innappropriate to discuss personal matters in front of a room full of people. It just seemed so unprofessional her yelling accross the room trying to see if I was easy money for them the guaranteed 2-3 nite stay of my pet with them when my cat had not even been examined. Then a lady came from the back with some papers and said we can not see your can we are to busy. I said why didn't you tell me this before I drove all of this way you all said you could see her. She then said you refused to keep your cat here overnite. I said let me make this perfectly clear I never refused to let my cat stay here. I then realized that all they cared about was greed, money and they did not want to be questioned or called out for innappropriate behavior and unprofessionalism. She went back to the back and returned again mumbling sorry we are to busy. I have never been to such a unprofessional clinic. WHAT ARE THEY HIDING WHEN YOU CAN NOT GO BACK WITH YOUR PET???????????? STRANGE. THE VET SEEMS TO ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY AND NOT ANIMALS!

So, I had just moved to the area and I took my dog that had gotten attacked to another clinic and they had over charged and made the wounds worse. I took Slater to the Animal Hospital and Dr. Stansell and his awesomely caring staff took the best care of him that I could ever hope for. I would never use any other clinic in Gordon County. They made me feel like I was someone who had been a client for years, even though it was my first time. Without them, I am sure that Slater would have gotten an infection and possibly died. I am eternally grateful to them.
