Doesn't care about other properties:
I am not a customer but the neighbor of the customer. 11/22/2017, the subcontractor Ashley contracted, C&H Disposal of Elmer NJ, pulled a dumpster from neighbor’s yard & drove on my yard, leaving ruts where the tires were & damaging the enclosure for the water & gas (the water company fixed). C&H Disposal‘s driver left without informing me & I found it the next day as I got home from work after dark. Ashley said C&H Disposal took full responsibility for the damage & I would have to deal with them. I called C&H Disposal about the ruts & a month later after many false promises & a bunch of resistance, C&H Disposal showed up unannounced & filled in the ruts. Just topsoil; no seed, fertilizer, or an erosion preventer. The sidewalk damage makes this muddy. Winter & the downpour 4/16 showed that damage was done to the curb & sidewalk where C&H Disposal’s truck drove onto my yard. The water pools on the sidewalk where the truck did the damage & causes muddy grass & possibly ice in the winter. I called C&H Disposal about the issue 4/13 (left message) & 4/17 & followed up both times by calling Ashley. I was told 4/17 by C&H Disposal they would not repair the damage because I waited 5 months (actually 4 months) to contact them (they were mostly unresponsive to get the ruts filled in). I didn’t tell them the extensive damage because the damage didn’t become apparent until months later due to the weather. They also questioned how they know their truck did the damage. If they initially responded & sent someone to inspect the damage, they would have seen the damage their driver incurred. They did more damage than initially observed & now refuse to repair the damage they caused. I followed up with Ashley & they agreed that since it had been 5 months (actually 4 months) since the damage occurred, they agreed with C&H Disposal & would not repair the damage to my sidewalk. Contractors like this give honest contractors a bad name.
