This place is horrible:
This complex is horrible. I moved in here a few months ago hoping to have a nice, quiet, safe place to live. Now they are doing major renovations and it isn't quiet, safe or nice anymore. It looks like a war zone, literally like bombs went off. Almost every court yard is covered in rubble. They cut down all the beautiful trees, they are jackhammering all the time. There is dust, concrete and dirt everywhere. You can hardly breathe. When I talked to the management they assured me this would be quick and easy, they also promised notice and a place to stay during. Neither happened. The buildings shake like small earthquakes all the time. The managers don't care. Avalon, the company that owns it, doesn't care. They have told us to move out when our lease is up and me before because I asked for a hotel or to be moved during the loudest days. It starts early morning and ends late afternoon. There are contract workers all over and we have no privacy anymore. It is a terrible and dangerous living situation. They have made living her unbearable and what is worse they don't care.

*currently under major remodel!*:
I moved in here early this year and loved the facility and the staff but then they suddenly sprang a major remodel on me that was not disclosed when i signed the lease. i have now been living in an active jobsite for the entire summer without access to my balcony, and sometimes even my unit, jackhammering and painting starting at 8am and now constant trampling through my unit by workmen all day and from the looks of things, for the next couple years
I have now been told that they plan on redoing the interiors next year and will need to move to another unit if i intend to renew my lease.
they've offered no compensation for my inconveniences and refuse to let me out of my lease so i'm stuck here unless i want to pay the penalties for breaking the lease. the office is only open from 8-5 so if there were any problems left by construction, you're on your own.
their only explanation is that they're creating a place that hopefully i'll love to live at so a couple months of inconvenience is a well worth the cost...i don't think so.
