If you can afford to shop at Barney's department store, the bastion of New York chic, you'll appreciate the smoked salmon and sturgeon flown in from --- where else? Located on the store's top level, this is definitely a designer deli --- which means a marble vodka-and-caviar bar, as well as cold cuts and gourmet salads from the glassed-in case. Of course, if you're missing that matzo ball soup...

"The lox rox" at this "outpost of the legendary NYC" Jewish deli perched atop Barneys, where "agents", "celebs" and "rich wannabes" do lunch over "superior" smoked fish and other posh noshes; out on the "pretty" terrace "overlooking Beverly Hills", no one minds if it's as "pricey" as the threads downstairs.
