This sports bar looks great on the outside but has much to be desired in the inside. The bouncers, while performing their job to the best of there abilities, were rude. One male was harrassed from the beginning about the length of his shirt and was ordered to tuck it in. Once inside, it was obvious that he was being picked on since not any other male in the place had their shirt tucked in. On the night of the fight you would think that it would be available at a sports bar of all places but no. The food presentation was good but the flavor was lacking. The cheese sticks were cold and could use a little salt. The drinks were a little over priced but decent. A mixed drink will run you about $10. The crowd there was about the only positive thing that can be said about this sports bar.

My friends and I checked out Baxter's on a Friday evening and though crowded, it was alot of fun to hang out dance, get some nice drinks and the cool thing no cover. And I was reading table tents about upcoming events like valentine's and mardi gras where no cover again would be charged. That is what Norfolk has needed a night spot that is upscale and inviting with the no cover.

Don't plan to order water at this bar. If they know that's what your getting, one bartender in particular would ignore me over other alcoholic orders, but then told me it was a shame I was drinking water and asked, "don't you want bottled water or something?" Sorry, but someone's got to be the designated driver. Next time I'll bring my own bottled water to Baxters.
