Bernice's Bakery is the original commercial baker of povotica in the Kansas City area. Baking povotica in her kitchen, Bernice soon found herself making povitica for local grocers. The bakery was purchased in 1972 by Bill and Delores Mulich who expanded the market of their hand made povitica to the entire metro Kansas City area and beyond through their mail order business.
