After visiting a number of churches in the Inland Empire and even in LA, my wife and visited Bethel. We immediately felt at home in the welcoming and diverse congregation--more than welcome--I actually felt valued. We had long sought a church where you were diversity of opinion could be openly acknowledged. After much searching, we joined Bethel last Easter. It is currently a very diverse community (in age, ethnicity, orientation, and opinion). It is a small but growing group that is open to adapting itself to new members as they join. With every new member, we become a slightly different church. If you have felt yourself a misfit in other churches, I urge to to visit us for a couple of weeks to see if we are right for you.
