$20,000 damage, Lies, Breaking&Entering....:
This marina hit my boat with their crane,
knocking it off the stands, crashing it to the ground, and punctured the hull with the crane's outrigger.
They then painted over the damage, and pretended it never happened.
They broke into the boat, cutting off the locks, smoked inside it, etc... trying to cover up the damage.
They refused to release the boat to me, so I could get it properly repaired.
Their actions prevented me from having a "clean claim" with my insurer.
I had to use lawyers, police, insurers, harbormasters, etc... in order to get my boat back.
The yard is STILL stonewalling and pretending it did not happen.
The repairs cost almost $20,0000, at a qualified repair yard, most of that was paid for by insurance--after I spend 8 months, and thousands of dollars, on lawyers, etc.
DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS YARD, IT WILL LEAVE YOU WITH NO LEGAL RECOURSE. MAKE SURE YOUR INSURANCE IS IN EFFECT, THIS YARD'S IS QUESTIONABLE/FUNNY.
