Good Place for the Kids:
Bounce Town is small compared to big bounce places like Pump-It-Up, but it has all the essential elements for a good time and you don't have to run all over the place to keep up with the kids.
It has a traditional bounce house, a giant slide with bouncey steps going up the side, an obstacle course, and a worm or snake-like thing that our 2-year old is afraid to go in to. There is also a small corral for babies with things to climb on, slide down and play in while the big kids bounce. The price for open bounce is very reasonable. We have also taken the kids to special parent-night-out lock-ins, where they have food, games and a very good time for a reasonable price.
BounceTown also offers after-school care, which my grandson attends. My daughter likes it because as soon as they get there (picked up in the BounceTown van at the Wylie elementary schools) they are given a snack and then they must do their homework before they can bounce. This is done in the party room which is separate from the bounce equipment. My daughter also likes it because it is a family-run business, and a mom provides the supervision. My daughter says she acts like a mom and uses common sense like a mom. There are not a huge number of kids there, like there are at the other childcare facilities in Wylie, which we believe is a better environment for my grandson. He was bullied by some kids at another facility in Wylie where they use teenagers for supervising the school aged kids.
All-in-all, Wylie is lucky to have this facility. It's centrally located on Park between Westgate and Ballard, near several schools.
