Tips

Know Before You Go: The kitchen closes at midnight--the only thing available afterward is the cheese and charcuterie plate, which features a nice selection of small-production products.

Parking: After 6pm, metered parking along Sunset and up Argyle is a fairly easy alternative to the valet in front of building. There are also a handful of spots in the small lot in back.

Small but mighty:
This small storefront restaurant has excellent nightly dinner specials. I've had very good tomato soup here as well as fish dishes. they also have a nice selection of wines by the glass. It's a fun place to eat of you are seeing a film at the Arclight. It can get very crowded as the night wears on.

Romantic Restaurant/Bar:
The Bowery is a small restaurant with a bar. The chairs and tables are tighly packed next to each other. Primarily, this is a bar, but there is a small fantastic menu that changes frequently. If you go to the Arclight Hollywood, consider getting a drink or dinner at the Bowery. It's dark and romantic there--bad for kids.

This New York-style bar and bistro from restaurateur George Abou-Daoud serves up accessible fare in a laid-back setting. Choose from reasonably priced burgers, salads and sandwiches and a variety of beer and liquor. Read More

A "little slice of New York" in Hollywood, this American near the ArcLight is a popular late-night spot for its "awesome" trademark burger, complemented by a "sophisticated" wine list and intriguing beer selection; its "hip" clientele also likes the "surprisingly good" service and "decent prices", making the small subway-tiled room a "go-to" destination.

The Bowery Restaurant Review:
This New York-style bar and gastropub/bistro from restaurateur George Abou-Daoud --- his other eateries include Delancey, The Mercantile and Rosewood Tavern --- serves up accessible fare in a laid-back setting. Dinner starters include sweet corn-and-crab fritters, mac ‘n’ cheese gratin, and a take on the French-Canadian dish poutine (fries bathed in gravy). Reasonably priced entrées include...

One of Hollywood's fun, slightly rockin' alternatives to the overbearing scene on the Boulevard is this New York-style neighborhood joint smackdab next to Magnolia on Sunset.:
In Short
Located just east of Sunset + Vine, this smartly styled brasserie-cum-saloon--sister restaurant to pizzeria/bar Delancey--infuses the area with another dose of Lower-Manhattan...
