Paid $$$ for not fixing my car problems:
I brought my 2005 Ford Focus to check faulted automatic transmission (car jerked when the gears were changing, didn't engage in reverse) but been told that they didn't find anything bad with the transmission and that my problems were caused by the broken motor mound, which the service adviser suggested to replace. Unfortunately I agreed and paid $600 for the repair that didn't fix any of the problems that I had. In less than a week brought the car back with check engine light on and blinking O/D off light. This time been told that my transmission had to be replaced for $4000. Decided not to go with it and ended up paying $600 for nothing.

Charged $100 for Studs and Nuts, no exageration:
Very Disappointed!

I dropped off my 1999 Ford F-150 at the dealership to have the exhaust manifold (passenger side) replaced. I provided aftermarket parts, including the manifold, gasket, and studs/nuts for the repair. These items were left inside the cabin of the truck. I unfortunately dropped the vehicle off afterhours, but I specified a limit of $600 on the cost of repair w/o contacting me on the repair order. The next morning, David Dudek did the repair, however, was apparently unable to find the studs and nuts in the cabin (ironically, they were in plain site, next to the manifold). They were on the floor of the truck when I picked it up, right next to where the manifold was (which they found).
Without further authorization from me, they used ford OEM parts to complete the repair instead of just halting the work. I'm not sure why they even started if they couldnt find all the parts, but that is another problem. I was charged $8.86/ stud (w703902 S403) and $3.15/ Nut (W701706 S2). There are 8 studs and nuts required for the manifold, totaling $96.08!!! for nuts and bolts!. The aftermarket bolts I supplied were only $16 for a pack of 10.
The service advisor was friendly, but unhelpful. I was told to go talk to parts department about the cost of those nuts, but parts claimed that 'ford' sets the prices and they can't do anything about it. Briarwood Ford service department basically stole an additional $96 from me (more than the cost of the aftermarket manifold itself), plus $6 tax of course.
I would have been perfectly willing to pay a 'reasonable' cost for the hardware (ie, $20 or less), but I am exceptionally disappointed that briarwood ford thought I would even want a high end copper plated stainless steel stud/nut to be used on a 14 year old truck w/ 163,000 miles on it. To make matters worse in my opinion, they also charged me $20 in misc. supplies (presumabley for shop supplies, like nuts and bolts).

Avoid this service shop. Drive to Gene Butman or even Varsity Ford instead.
