Bed bugs and bad service!:
We've stayed here before and everything was fine. When we checked in Wednesday everything was fine. Thursday morning we get woken up saying our room was double booked and we had to change rooms. We were OK with that. Last night, my husband wakes me up saying he was getting eaten by something so we search for not even 5 mins and find a bed bug. He burned it. We found 6 in less than 20 mins.Since it was like 5 in the morning we had to wait for the front office to open so we could request a different room. He did and the lady says we have to wait. After him going down multiple times I decide to go down where the owner is present. I ask about a room change and she says we have to wait until tomorrow because there are no rooms. I point to the sign that says vacancy and she says yes but they are all reserved. Mind you its 8 am and checkout is 11. So I tell her the room had bed bugs. She says "No we change the sheets everyday." So I tell her I can show her a picture and video. She says show me. Not only do I show her pics and video but I BRING HER A BED BUG we burned. She says that's not a bed bug!!!! She ended up giving us a partial refund. We paid for 6 days and got 4 days back because "we came down this morning". THE OFFICE WAS CLOSED UNTIL 8! I wish I could post pictures here. She then proceeds to admit that the room had problems but had been bombed before but she got new carpet and linen. I will be calling corporate and sitting outside on the public sidewalk with the pictures and video to show to potential occupants and direct them next door to the Comfort Inn which is much nicer.
