Food is part of the rhythm of life, and so Italians eagerly await the arrival of seasonal ingredients from mushrooms in the fall to wild strawberries in the spring. We at Cafe Murano bring these themes from Italy to you. Our food is carefully created using the freshest ingredients made from scratch.

Know Before You Go: Local artists, mostly singer-songwriters with an acoustic guitar, play in the Grotto six times a week.

Growing up one of 5 children in a tight-knit New Jersey family, Chef John relished the chance to work in the kitchen with his European grandmother, and it was from her that he developed his deep affection for Italian cuisine.

He cites his opportunity to work alongside Master Chef Giuseppe Formica at Hotel Giardino, in, Pesaro, Italy, as having a profound influence on his culinary philosophy.
