Tips

On the Menu:
If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to try the array of house-made gelatos--owner Tony Riviera claims to be the only gelato master on the West Coast.

Parking:
A large subterranean structure is located behind the restaurant on Alta Loma Road. You can take the escalator up.

Their flavors are truly wonderful.:
Their flavors are truly wonderful. The fruits that they have as toppings are sweet too and I can’t get enough of their chocolate yogurt.

BAD service!!!:
I ordered a cup of coffee. While I was adding sugar and milk, I saw this giant red big lip mark on the cup! I took the coffee to the counter asking for an exchange. The server didn't look at me nor apologize for the gross cup. I will never go back to the place again.

A Taste of Italy in LA!:
Primo's is the place for Italian gelatio on the Sunset Strip! It's similar to a Roman cafes where you can get a cafe doppio or a fast snack and be on your way. There are also paninis, pizzas and salads in addition to their Roman-style espresso bar. The tables are large marble slabs, so you might be sitting with a stranger if you come when it's busy. They also have some home-made scones, cinamon rolls, muffins (heads only), etc. if you just want to get a coffee and a light breakfast. There's street parking or in the mall lot downstairs. It's pretty informal (meaning slow), so just walk in and don't bother with a reservation.

Caffe Primo Restaurant Review:
Along the Sunset Strip, Caffè Primo is a versatile, all-day snack center, in which a sleek and stylish interior is dominated by a horseshoe-shaped gelato bar and hip coffee lounge as stylishly decked out as some of the neighboring clubs. Handcrafted espresso drinks enhance the scene, where shoppers and tourists take time out for some people-watching on the landscaped patio or enjoy a refreshing...

The sizable menu is easy to navigate, sporting trusty café staples like omelets, panini, soups, crepes, pizza,...
