Hi there. I was in a car accident in July 2008. $7200 damage to my front end (this is what Caliber Collission charged my insurance company). Geico and Caliber Collision BOTH said that the repairs were guaranteed for life.

When I noticed that the hood was off 1/8" - I knew that the guarantee would cover this. When the bumper started to come off - I knew that the guarantee would cover this.

When I took it in, they said - SORRY - the guarantee does not cover this bumper. I said WHY? They said you should have called us the first day you saw it.. NOW since the bumper was hanging down - it scraped the bottom of the bumper.

So that voids the guarantee.

SO SORRY - please pay us an extra $500 deductible!!! SO YES - I believe that they scammed me.
