Low quality products accompanied by horrendous customer service:
Went to Campanella’s for simple support stockings to wear under professional clothing. Was denied stockings until I made an appointment to get measured (despite the fact that I have been wearing them for years). Hours are very inconvenient and inflexible, particularly for professionals who days span long beyond their 9-5 hours. The owner showed up a half hour late with no apology and tried to sell me stockings which were a size bigger than I wear (switched to my correct size after I pointed out the sizing chart on the package). Received stockings which were of extremely poor quality – offered minimal compression as compared to pairs I have purchased from competitors and looked horrible – could not have possibly been worn under professional clothing. Owner argued with me about wanting to return the product stating “if he returned products every time people were unhappy he would be out of business” (doesn’t say much about his customer satisfaction..). When I brought up the fact that he was a half hour late to our appointment he responded “what do you want me to say” – when I said these stockings were not wearable under professional clothing as we discussed, he responded “no one sees your feet”. Finally after much discussion, he agreed to return one of the two pairs I had purchased. I highly discourage the use of this vendor – please consider taking your business to Sheridan Surgical instead. I will be advising all of my patients to take their surgical supply needs elsewhere.
