Shoddy, Incomplete work. He breached his own contract!:
Wayne McNeil gave us a contract stating he would scrape, sand and feather-sand areas that needed it as part of the preparation. He didn't do this and simply painted over these areas. He also put in contract that he would repair or replace loose damaged or rotten wood as necessary and he didn't do this either, he painted over badly damaged wood trim and boards. He was to paint the entire brick foundation and he left at least a 16ft area unpainted completely. The brick he did paint was merely coated flat part but not in the grooves. There was overspray on windows and doors that he didn't remove and i can't get to come off. Cracks in the wood that he said he would caulk wasn't and he got angry at the walk around and stated that he has done all he can do and done all he will do. He refuses to come finish the job at our home but is trying to put a lien on our home for the final payment of $3150. We paid him $1600 upfront and per his contract the balance is due once the job is completed. Well, the job isn't completed, so we're not paying him the balance. Don't recommend needless to say is an understatement!!!! The only reason i gave him a 1/2 star rating is because it wouldn't let me leave a review without it!!
