Built originally in the 1800s, it was rebuilt to the tune of USD180 million after the Northridge earthquake in 1994. This seven-level structure accommodates up to 3000 worshipers. The lower level Crypt Mausoleum is also worth a glance, and is the resting place of bishops and cardinals.
