The magnificent Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion has entered its second century of creating Colorado history. Today state citizens and visitors from around the nation and world are welcomed through the doors of Colorado’s Home to enjoy public tours and various education, civic learning, and cultural programs.

Designed and built for the Cheeseman family in 1908, and later purchased by the Boettcher family, this mansion was deeded to the state in 1959. The Georgian Revival residence became the Governor's Mansion in 1960 after considerable controversy.
