Went in to renew my DOT medical card. All was good except the vision test beings I didn't have glasses. The doctor gave me a form to take to a optometrist so he can validate my true vision when wearing corrective lenses. I was told to have the optometrist sign and stamp the form and bring it back and he would give me my medical card. WELL THAT DID NOT HAPPEN! I brought the form back filled out signed and stamped saying I met the proper vision criteria required by DOT with glasses while driving a commercial vehicle. Concentras doctor who gave me this form was not there when I returned with the paper work. Concentra ignored what their own doctor instructed me to do and said I need my glasses to pass their eye chart on the wall even though a professional eye doctor gave me the green light. All Concentra needed to do was sign off on my med card and check off were it says I must wear glasses while operating a commercial vehicle. Until I can afford glasses, I know better not to drive a truck without glasses. Aside from $124.50 I paid Concentra to send me on a wild goose chase, now my class A license will be declassified until I get my med card. Bottom line .. I should off listened to others who had negative experience with this company. That's My Story And I Stick To It!
