Hitches, maybe. Plow wiring and install, NO!:
I made an appointment to have a plow frame and wiring installed on my truck. I get a call an hour after I dropped the truck off that they didn't have the mount in stock, but would install the wiring. I was told the truck would be ready in 30 minutes. I returned about an hour later only to wait 30 minutes. I was told the mount would be delivered in 2 days. I never received a call that it was in, so I called to find it still wasn't in. I decided to buy the mount from plowpartsdirect.com since they had it in stock. After installing the mount myself, I went to connect the plow, and find they wired my truck for a 3 plug system when I asked for a 2 plug. So plowpartsdirect.com got some more business and I updated my plow and wiring. I get everything connected only to find the high beam indicator is always on and the plow lights are dim. Danforth's wired my truck for an HB5 rather than an HB1 configuration. I found this was the case as I went on Western's website and read the directions, which is something Danforth's techs may want to try. Now that I figured out what was wired incorrectly, I had to fix it. Danforth techs should test each installation before giving it to the customer. Overall, poor customer service and shoddy workmanship.
