I was easily manipulated by this attorney! Financially my money was tight due to my husband taking EVERYTHING from me. So I was appreciative and relieved when She claimed that she would work with me. She told me to come in and only bring $200 and she'll "work with me" when it comes to the rest. we "need to get this filed A/S/A/P! In which I agreed. BAD MISTAKE on my part! That is how she suckered me into a contract (scam) When I came in to put my $200 down, immediately she had me sign a contract. She told me she would file the next Tuesday. She did not. Instead she asked for an additional $100.00 in which I gave to her and still... NOTHING! She claimed she needed $500.00 down before she can start anything plus $100.00 to get the papers filled. Stupidly I payed her once again. Still the papers DID NOT get filled after my final meeting with her when she demanded MORE MONEY and belittled me with insults and attitude, along with additional fees to have my husband served, (in which she did NOT notify me of prior to all of this) I fired her and told me to send me a check for the money I payed her. Thinking since she did nothing, I would have my money refunded. Boy I was wrong! She not ONLY KEPT MY ENTIRE $700!! But charged me an ADDITIONAL $350!!! NOT COMPASSIONATE! NOT UNDERSTANDING! SCAMMER! SHE HAS ALSO HAD HER PRACTICING LICENSE REVOKED FOR TWO YEARS IN 2002.
Please, do your research! Don't be taken by her like I have... Goodluck!
