I was referred to Dennis by someone who I later discovered was someone who I shouldn't have listened to. Dennis is all about feathering his retirement nest. He repeatedly spent a lot of time (and my money at >$400/hr) writing up positions which were immediately discounted by the other attorney. He did not have the capability to put together any sort of strategy going into the proceedings, except for once which was immediately shut down. I have since had another attorney look at the case and is in the process of trying to undo what Dennis did - he couldn't believe that I was actually represented by an attorney based on the outcome. Honestly, I would have come out better the first time around if I had gone at it solo. DON'T HIRE DENNIS!

I almost made the mistake of retaining Dennis. I listened to the advice of a close friend while in the process of choosing a lawyer to represent me.

Before you think about retaining Dennis please meet with him twice and go to Maricopa County Superior Court and observe him without letting him know you are doing so.
You will find a) he arrives late to court b) brings an unnecessary dog and pony show with him to drive up his price c) he whines and flails his arms at the judge when his arguments are shut down d) opposing witnesses easily frustrate him and p@!s him off when they are not intimidated by his questions and lack luster courtroom preparations.

If children are involved in your divorce I can think of 20+ lawyers with one quarter his experience that will do twice as good of a job in half the time and expense as Dennis. Look at his cases and they truly do have the same theme : drag them out, leech off the client, take advantage of the client, poor preparation by Levine in Court, etc. etc.
All I can say is do your homework, you and the future of your children are counting on it.

I was referred to Mr. Levine by another attorneyy. A referral from a peer, the highest praise one can give. I fould him thorough, effective, most frugal with my meager finances, allowing me to be a working part of my case to save me costs wherever possible.He is easily available with a quick phone call.does not dodge tough questions, is realistic about case outcomes and fights like hell when you have become his Cause. He prepares for court like a general preparing for battle, and his strategies are always ethical. He treats his clients like loved family members whom he protects, and each interaction he fills with a sense of humanity, and above all, humor "under fire". I have read some very negative comments by subscibers to this sight, and can only say they were the ones clearly on the losing side, and, without signature or identity, prove themselves nothing but cowardly bullies.which is probably why they ended up his clients adversary I rate him 5 star, and have referred friends in need to him for his services.

Our divorce is final, because we finally settled at mediation. But now my EX disagrees with the terms of the agreement that we just signed in May of 2012.
