I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction. He sedated me and then I woke up and he said he had started on it and then thought it was too difficult and stopped. He said they were too impacted to proceed and he didn't want to do it. After that, one tooth was slightly exposed. Two days later it proceeded to get infected and put me in the hospital for three days. That was 7 years ago. I just thought that was the way it was. I continued to have problems with the one tooth that was exposed until I had to have something done. I recently went to an oral surgeon in Lewisville and he was excellent. All four teeth were extracted in about an hour and the follow ups were great. I still have issues with that upper right side of my mouth because of the aborted extraction by Dr. Nix.
