Dr. Jannetta has his detractors. I am one of them. He has been called perjuror (non indicted) by the Pa Superior Court for lying under oath about the risks of the Jannetta Procedure or MVD) for trigeminal neuralgia. "We have little difficulty in concluding that Dr. Jannetta's testimony at deposition was different than, or inconsistent with, the testimony at trial." In his seminal article on his 10 year experience with MVD he neglects me completely (says they followed up with all the patients, they never called me, and facial paralysis is not included in the article as a knonw risk)
