Emeril Lagasse poured more than a few million dollars into transforming this primly elegant, hundred-year-old Creole restaurant into a fantasy of glitz and plush as befits his showman's legacy. New Orleans is a casual town, but you can get dressed up for Delmonico, and plan to linger.
