F&F plumbing best price and service was good enough:
I was looking for a kohler memiors toilet, 1, for the higher HET rating(flush effeciency), and 2, I needed the elongated bowl. I looked on the interent, and found a lower price, but the shipping was $100 to ship to my house. I was lucky to find F&F had the toilet that I wanted and called the showroom. The price for the toilet, matched the lower internet price with the shipping so I went to the showroom to buy the toilet. Well like other reviewers, I walked in and the staff seemed busy, but I browsed around to see what they had. I saw some pretty impressive stuff and a bathtub, that listed for $7000, that looked like it weighed 800 lbs. Then I went over to the order desk and said I had called earlier, and I wanted the toilet we had discussed on the phone. The order got writen up and I paid and no problem. The pickup is about a mile away at their warehouse, and I went there to get the toilet. When I gave the desk person my bill of sale, I followed a warehouse employee to the back to get the toilet and back up my van to load it in. When he came back with the boxes I wanted him to open the boxes and show me that everything was in the box and unbroken, and to my satisfaction it was all there and perfect.
Now some reviews that have complained I add my review.
Anybody can walk into a store and look for reasons to complain. One way to avoid this is to call ahead and create a dialog with the sales person before arriving at the showroom, get the salesperson's name and when you get there make sure that you deal with them. I didn't have any problems with the service, or the product or the price. It turned out I got the best price, even over ordering over the internet, and they are in the city I live in.
I paid $276 for the toilet and $39 for the seat, that came to $315. Not a lot of people are spending that much on a toilet. But after installing it without any problems, and being completely happy with the way it works, I am glad I did spend the higher amount for a higher end toilet. I have seen it before, that when remodeling, it starts with a high expectations of how nice it will be to have everything new. But then as the remodel progresses, and the cost of parts and labor outweigh your vision of your dream bathroom or whatever, you want out with with less quality fixtures, and try to squeeze salemen for a deal, or just buy low quality stuff. Then your unhappy, and blame a contractor, or where you bought your supplies. Some advise, if I may add, is:
factor in that the job might take longer than expected,
factor that the job might cost more than expected,
Factor in that there might be mistakes made.
A project well done with high quality fixtures will indeed cost more, but last longer and you will be happier in the long run and take pride in a job well done. And friends and family that see the work will admire you for the quality alone.
A poorly done project that is fitted with low cost fixtures, might cost you more in the long run, you won't be as happy or take full pride in a project that cut corners. People that see the quality of the work of a poorly done job, well they might not complement you as highly for it.
And in the end when the problems arise and you have suffered through it all and turn to blame F&F plumbing supply in a review, what does that any good for anybody. Their store stocks nice high end fixtures, and I like that.

Terrible Service:
I have gone into that store for the last time! Never have I been treated well, but yesterday was the worst. The people who work there always act like you are putting them out, they never acknowlege your presense and when one does, they make you feel like scum. It has amazed me that they keep in business but guess people will put up with them because they carry a wonderful line of products. I hope more people do like I did yesterday and just walk out. They never even bothered to get their faces out of the computer even while someone is standing at the counter. Yesterday, not another customer was there and no acknowledgement of my presence. It is embarrassing, humiliating, and degrading to be either ignored or talked to in the manner they do. Where do they get off?

Rude, uninformative, and unprofessional:
They're the only folks in the area that have the part I want, but their manner on the phone & in their store is so bad I'll be ordering it off the Internet. Their retail guy couldn't handle a follow-up question: I asked for a particular part#, and then when it wasn't available and I asked for a generic type of part (wall-mount kitchen faucet) he seemed to think I was insane -- and referred me to the wholesale side. The wholesale side guy at least knew what I was asking about, but wanted me off the phone so fast I couldn't get to a price. When I called back to find their hours, their phone message said 8AM to 5PM -- but when I arrived at 4:40 PM, they were closed.
