Sad, Very Sad:
I am so completely sad. I do not know what to do with myself. Everyday day in day out. I cannot stop thinking about it. I was raped as a young girl and this is the closest thing that comes to being raped that I have ever experienced. I think it may be worse though because with the rape I felt violated and my dignity was lost but with the abortion I feel violated I feel my dignity has been lost (again) but I also feel that I have lost something. Like someone has died but the funeral does not seem to help. I have looked for some sort of counseling group but have not found one. My boyfriend broke up with me about two weeks after and I have nobody to talk about it with. He was the only one that knew. This place is called Choice medical group. They only offer one choice though. I wish I would have been told it would be like this. I would have made a different choice because nobody in their right mind would make this choice if they knew.

This Place Takes Advantage of Women In A Crisis:
This place admits to being under staffed and the staff they do have act like they are on drugs or are traumatized from the environment. They state that they are under staffed to keep the costs down when they are making bank off of treating women with no health care or ethics in mind. The people working in here are not nurses but medical assistants dressed in medical clothing for show.

They are pushy and you are left alone for hours with no one checking in on you. They only care about your money and they do not counsel or screen for pressure or coercion and they also do not inform you about the risks. Tbey will actaully have a woman sign paper work under duress since they are only interested in profit and not women's health care. Any other medical facility would be shut down for the level of medical care they are providing. The company does not want their doctors to provide any informed consent and the doctor has no contact with patients. This place is old and it is nothing more than an abortion mill ran by people that act like they are on drugs. They have lost all sense of reality and can't relate to patients at all. They are very insensitive to the women and want them out of there ASAP. There is one door to go in and another door to go out. They don't want the patients in the waiting room to see the results of their service. This place also has no patient privacy since it's ran like an abortion mill to maximize profit. You can't have a support person with you either since again it's ran like an abortion mill.

Personal and confidential care for women since 1969

Family Planning Associates Medical Group (FPA) was founded in 1969, soon after abortion became legal in California. At that time it was called the Avalon-Slauson Medical Group. All of the pregnancy terminations and other medical services were performed at Avalon Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles.
In many states, abortion was legal only for cases in which continuance of the pregnancy would be...
