Bad Billing:
I have only been going to Dr. Freeman's office for the past year, but have had repeated issues with billing.
1. I have insurance that pays for everything but the copay...which you are asked to pay before you visit the doctor....but the doctors office continued to send me bills (which I paid)...only to find out that my insurance had already paid them as well BEFORE the bills were sent to me. And so, they double-charged me and kept quiet about it until I started to ask questions. Then, I was sent a refund check for all the double-billing I had paid.
2. Just recently I went to the doctor and was told my prescription was sent to WalGreens. My bill just arrived and it showed three injections (worth more than the office visit cost)....and I never saw a single needle. Yes, they have now begun tacking on charges for services they never rendered.
Sorry to say it -- but BEWARE.
