AWFUL. For starters, they have an "F" rating with the BBB/Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and are not a BBB accredited business because of problems. Wish we'd known this or done our homework before hiring them. Save yourself aggravation, time and money and go with someone else besides GMZ Painting and Remodeling. We've spent tens of thousand of dollars (more than I'd care to admit) with them and for the most part, it's good quality work but their communication is terrible. We had problems from day one with them showing up on time or at all, keeping to some semblance of a schedule once they did show up or getting back to us in any kind of a timely manner. If you have a problem with anything afterward or need them to come back out for anything, even if you're willing to pay more money, forget about it. Our experience is that they're pretty much done with you once they've cashed the check...we've now dealt with several broken appointments and promises, no shows and then eventually just not responding to any emails or phone calls. So, I'm leaving this feedback only after trying to resolve this with them and have literally given them every opportunity to correct things. We've exhausted every option and avenue besides legal action against them. So, we're going to hire (and have to pay) someone else to come out and look at (and fix/redo) something we paid GMZ for because we now can't even get them to respond. Save yourself the headache and hire another contractor to begin with. They really need to understand that customer service, reputation and standing behind their work is important and it's not just about taking the money and running to the next job. Sad...we wish this had been a different outcome but live and learn.
