Gamble House

"The most complete and best-preserved work of American Arts and Crafts architects Charles and Henry Greene." One-hour, docent-led tours are available from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

If you're planning on taking a tour, flat shoes are required; slippers will be provided for those in heels.

The Gambles lived here through the 1960s, then gave the house to USC. They almost moved once before, but hearing prospective buyers talk about painting the woodwork white convinced them to stay and protect the treasure.
