Buyer beware- the customer comes last:
This place has absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in a retail setting. I have never gone to the trouble of writing a negative on-line review, but I feel compelled to do so after the extremely hostile treatment I received over the phone from a Ms. Lee (who claimed to be the manager).

I went in several weeks ago and purchased a large lot of stone tile. Today I went to Granite Expo and purchase an additional 10 tiles. When I got home I realized they bore no resemblance to those I purchased from Granite Expo during my earlier visits. I understand that there are natural variants in stone and, in fact, I like that contrast. But frankly this was too dramatic- it looked as if it was an entirely different stone.

I knew the policy of Granite Expo was to not accept returns or exchanges, but I thought it was worth a phone call. Ms. Lee answered the phone and immediately took a patronizing tone, talking over me rather than listening to me. When I said I was well aware of the policy and I was simply checking to see if there was any possibility of exchange, she repeatedly referred to the bottom of the form without directly answering my question and then hung up on me. When I called again, at this point not seeking to return the tiles, but to simply lodge a complaint regarding the extremely antagonistic and rude service, she answered again and said she was the manager and hung up on me a second time.

All I can say is be forewarned. The prices may be decent, but the merchandise quality is suspect and the customer service is truly the worst I have ever experienced in any comparable setting. If you must shop there, be sure to check the quality of your purchase before leaving and expect little in the way of service.
