Worst experience ever:
Worst experience I have ever had with any business.

My brand new lawnmower breaks... So I contact Toro and they tell me to get in touch with an authorized service center... Being that this business was the closest to my house, I brought my lawnmower here. I mean it was just replacing a measly spring and pull cord, what could possibly go wrong??

I bring it there... The owner is working, tells me he isn't sure if it is covered under warranty, I say, okay fix it any ways. Fast forward 5 days, owner calls me and says "Mower is ready, bill is 42 plus tax" I reply "okay"... After hanging up I call Toro directly and ask them about the situation. They ask for serial number and the date of purchase as indicated on my receipt... Customer service rep says "This is a warranted item so long as it doesn't show sign of neglect"... I call back Highway 9 and tell them what I have heard (leaving out the signs of neglect comment) and he replies "Oh, well I spoke with them and they say this is normal wear and tear and they don't replace this stuff" We go back and forth and he realizes he is caught in a lie when I accuse him of double billing says he will call me back... 5 minutes later he calls back and says "I spoke with Justin, the local Toro dealer and he says that you have to pay, but I will just give it to you for free"... "Fine by me I reply"... thinking I just totally did catch him double billing!!!

So I get to the store to get my mower and as I am pushing it out the owner starts to talk trash to me, calling me a young punk (I am 30 with a baby face), and that I don't know anything and this that and the other... As I am getting outside it gets very vulgar and aggressive. I turn around he completly lays into me telling me how he has owned 14 businesses and all kinds of other useless information... I become upset and defend myself and tell him how I feel about his operation. This upsets him and he tried to physically fight me... yes... he tried to fight me... He ran at me to shove me and I jumped out of the way... At this point I was unsure what to do, but I had my wife with me and she was scared so I said "if you are going to fight me over a lawnmower lets do it, but you are doing this in front of a Fed-Ex delivery man and my wife, and I will not only embarrass you, I will have you arrested" He went back inside and ran back out, not sure why, I have my suspicions, but I will keep that to my self... I left without further incident...5 minutes later he called to yell at me some more and give me a phone number to a toro dealer... I told him I could careless for the phone number that I spoke with corporate and they have the final say.

COMPLETE JERK!!

husqvarna lawn mower repair:
We had a situation with a Husqvarna Lawn Tractor purchased at a Lowes store where the transaxle broke and the rear wheel came off. The tractor was 3 months out of warranty but Husqvarna agreed to warrant the transaxle out of good will and we were to pay for labor, freight, pick up and delivery. We agreed to all of the terms but in addition to the labor, freight, pick up and delivery, Harold also wanted a $300.00 mark up on the transaxle that he was getting at no cost and said that Husqvarna told him it was OK to get the markup. We didn't think this was fair and contacted Husqvarna direct; they couldn't believe he was asking for the extra money and in no way told him it was OK, he agreed to get the part and fix the tractor but after thinking about it, he decided since he didn't sell the tractor originally, he would not do the warranty work without extra compensation. Lowes and Husqvarna are fixing our tractor at another dealer. I was very disappointed with Harold and Hwy 9 Power Equipment, he has lost our business. I don't usually bad mouth companies but we didn't think this was a fair situation and didn't like his attitude.
