The roots of the Marshalltown insurance agency go back to the 1930’s and the Gallup Insurance Agency. In the late 1950’s, it became Gallup-Neuroth-Mitchem Agency with the addition of Cletus Neuroth and Howard Mitchem. Loras Neuroth associated with the agency in 1972. Loras purchased the agency in 1976 and changed the name to Independent Insurance Services of Central Iowa, Inc.
