Retroactive Sales:
I should have read the reviews before visiting JCJD. I actually sort of "bought" a car here. I really didn't have a problem with the sales process but until after... I thought I was buying a car with a minor key fob issue (ignorant) and I was told I'd be able to pick it up the next day. I was reasonable so I left after finalizing the finance and paper work. They even told me that they can get me a lower rate than BOA. Well, I thought I did until I read the truth and lending. Their main focus was getting me at my ideal monthly payment and not the actual rate. My 2.5% rate spiked to over 5% due to longer terms but that didn't matter you know, it's all about the monthly payments. Basically, I just signed because I wanted the slightly Used 2014 Grand Cherokee badly. (Deal) I went back the next morning thinking I would be picking up the car I just bought. Wrong, the car was not ready because now they have to order a new part. My sales guy Connor brushed it off as if it was no big deal and said it will be ready by Monday. Please note, he didn't offer to put me in a comparable "complimentary car" but instead the Finance guy, Paul offered to give me a rental car through Enterprise on the "house". But was it on the house? Nope, I had to cough up a $25 deposit and was pressured into buying daily coverage. I called back Monday to follow up, guess what? Yep, the part is not in... My patience didn't run out there. It ran out when I starting working with the Used Car Director, John. Since John is the Director he would take over from here. He told me that the part will be in around 11 am the next day. He called me later that afternoon to let me know the part is in and the service guys are working on it. I call him and told him I will be there at 5 pm to pick up the car. He said the car is fixed, the guys are putting gas in it and will be detailed by then. I went at 5 pm to pick up my car. After waiting for 45 minutes I was finally approached by the service manager. Guess what? The car is not fixed and we don't know when it will be ready. Too bad for me, I turned in the rental back before they were closed. No car, no ride home. I became upset as anyone would in my situation. Finally John comes out of the fishbowl, and he was wearing shorts, t-shirt and a hat. To me, this is unprofessional and his attire fits the personality. I addressed my concerns and he brushed it off like it was no big deal, IT WILL BE READY but I don't know when. He wanted to put me back in my ALREADY TRADED IN CAR and be on my way UNTIL THEY DON'T KNOW WHEN. He failed to offer me a solution. I DID BUY a Used 2014 JGC limited but the price on this is ONLY few thousand less than a newer one. I could have easily purchased a new JGC. He was defensive from the start and threw his team under the bus without taking blame. A true leader does not do THAT, they own up. I'VE NEVER FELT DISRESPECTED UNTIL I CAME IN CONTACT WITH JOHN. I BECAME FRUSTRATED AND DECIDED TO CANCEL THE WHOLE DEAL. THIS IS WHEN I WENT TO BOZARD FORD AND RECEIVED EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE BEST RATED DEALERSHIP IN THE NATION. THESE GUYS TOOK CARE OF ME AND GOT ME A 1.75% RATE PLUS $2500 IN REBATES!!!! I BOUGHT A NEW 2014 FORD EDGE SPORT. THESE GUYS MADE ME FEEL IMPORTANT AND I WAS MAKING A $45K PURCHASE. DON'T BUY FROM JCJD GO GET A FORD AT BOZARD. NO ISSUES WITH THEIR CARS AND THEY'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU WITHOUT YOU EVEN ASKING FOR IT.
