Description

Built in 1936 in a natural acoustic bowl in Brackenridge Park, the Sunken Garden Theater boasts an open-air stage set against a wooded hillside. This outdoor arena, open from March through October, offers rock, country, hip-hop, rap, jazz, Tejano, Cajun and sometimes even the San Antonio Symphony.

Great place:
I enjoy going to the Japanese Tea Gardens. They are really nice. Make sure to go before they drain the water towards the end of the year. There is a picnic area. I haven't been there in awhile, but last time I went it was free admission.
