Thes guys are Liars and swindlers:
My wife and I sent a package to the Philippines on the 28th of July with the promise that it would arrive at the desired location in 30 days or less.
When is didn't appear, we started calling. At first the local store employees claimed they never said 30 days for delivery. When it was pointed out that they had not only said it, they pointed us to there website which confirmed it, they then said the package was being held at the Manila customs office. We called Manila Customs and they said they would not be holding a box like the one described and advised us that this was a common claim made by Johnny Air and the box was likely at their Manila shipping facility. So we called that facility and were told that the box had been shipped. After making several more phone calls to both Johhny Air and Superferry, we discovered that the box had not even been picked up until wee had called local customs in Manila.
All the while, the staff of all three offices of Johnny Air, in Los Angeles, Manila and Cagyan De Oro continued to lie about delivery and pick up and once they were caught lying, they then played the blame game.
Meanwhile, the box was over 1 week late and the person who was to receive a birthday gift was left with nothing.
This whole company is run by a fraud named John Valdes. Check their website for package tracking. Their own tracking page is a farce that takes you down dead pages.
Be very careful in dealing with these people. They will also threaten to call immigration, which in our case was a non factor, but in doing some research, I have found several other people who have had very bad experiences with them, including have to pay a "surcharge" to get a box released once it arrives in the Philippines.
Very Bad Business.
