Rude Manager:
I went here with my family. The service was just okay as the waitress provided us with all we ordered in a timely manner. The only thing is the food given is a much smaller portion than other Johnny Rockets I had been to. The one at the Block in Orange has a much larger food portion.
Later, when we wanted to get our parking ticket validated, the lady serving us told us to just go to the movie theatre nearby and they can validate for restaurant guests from Johnny Rockets. After going to the theatre, the manager there would not validate our ticket. He then proceeded to discuss the matter with the manager at Johnny Rockets.
The manager of the restaurant seemed a little embarrassed to be confronted by the theatre manager. All the theatre manager said was "please do not direct customers from Johnny Rockets to the theatre to get parking ticket validations."
While my family and I had just done as we were told by the waitress, the Johnny Rockets manager raised his voice to me and told me I was not allowed to get my ticket validated, that the Garden Walk does not allow Johnny Rockets to validate tickets. He practically accused me, as if I were in the wrong for simply doing what his own employee told me I could do.
That in itself is poor customer service. I would not go there again because of the small food portion compared to other Johnny Rockets. Now I DEFINITELY WILL NOT go there because the manager is incapable of handling customers in a polite and friendly manner.
