Johnny's Saloon

Punk rock and Johnny Cash meet here in this almost pitch-black hole in a run-down strip plaza. The bar staff can be icily gruff and the crowd is nary without a tattoo or chain wallet, but there's no denying the conspicuous homage to rock 'n' roll, booze and the '80s punk and rockabilly scene.

Cranking out everything from Johnny Cash to punk, this "hidden treasure" in a Huntington Beach strip mall boasts one of the "best jukeboxes in the OC"; the "tatted-up" crowd, "dark-as-hell" digs and "iffy" service are probably "not for everyone", but at least drinks are "cheap" and "poured heavy."
