they suck:
ok so to start I did not take my truck to them. I bought a truck they worked on and it's the worst work I have seen done. A squirrel gone under the hood and went to work on the wiring harness. so for the work they did on the ABS harness they cut the connecters out and on one side they butt spliced them to the harness but did not seal them. on the other side they twisted the wire together and tape them then put loom over it. I guess ordering the new harness for 50 was to much and the bill was $1300 if your going to fix the ABS harness you should do it right not half a@s that is how people get killed. I order a new harness for the truck do to the fact who knows what else they messed up. So I would not take anything to this shop if you like life.

Great!:
I have had multiple cars serviced at Lakewood Auto Electric. I did my research when looking for mechanics and I was pleased with many different aspects of this shop. First, of all was the price. I called around and received price quotes from at least 5 different shops in the Lakewood area. Lakewood Auto Electric gave me the cheapest quote with the best warranty. When I went to pick up my car after the repair the price I paid was the same price I was quoted for. There were no hidden fees, which I appreciate. Another reason why I choose this shop is because of the staff. During phone conversations and in person conversations I felt like they knew what they were talking about. They were knowledgeable about cars and could answer any questions I had. They explained to me why my car broke down and how to protect it from happening again. I also appreciated that they kept the bad part to show me when I picked up my car. My car has been running great since I got it back. I would go back to Lakewood Auto Electric to have my car serviced again. I would also recommend this shop to others.

1976 GMC Sprint - Indifferent work:
Seems that they are pretty busy. They replaced my windscreen washed pump. Got some (dash lights ignored as it would take too long) of my interior lights working (roof courtesy light wasn't screwed in & dropped out when driving home). Didn't adjust headlights (no wall to check alignment). Exterior lights were asked to be checked (All OK as far as they were checked). Nice premises with well turned out personnel. I expected a higher level of professionalism. The management appear to be running it like a back street garage.

Unfinished work. Rude people:
Our work was not finished the first time we picked up the car, nor the second time. After that we were refused service and had to go to a Ford dealer to have the work completed.
