Lincare CPAP service.:
I have a ResMed AirSense10 autoset CPAP provided me from Lincare via Medicare.Unit has an auto/ramp feature topping out at the prescribed maximum pressure of 7. The setting is not adjustable leading to high discomfort at final pressure. A request to the Lincare healthcare specialist for an adjustable unit took many phone calls for a response. Finally I was told that I needed a new prescription. I submitted a new prescription and spoke with the healthcare specialist. There has been no cooperation from her to provide a different unit nor any effort to assist me with my difficulties encountered with my present CPAP. I have discontinued use of the unit until I receive assistance from this person. Since I'm "renting" this unit I get the strong impression that Lincare will wait out my situation until I own it and they can walk away with another Medicare sale.
My solution to snoring health issues is met with complacency to the patient.
