Don't Care About Their Customers After They Make The Sale:
What a let down. I've had positive experiences in the past but last year I bought a Pioneer receiver for my car and while it worked fine for a while, it ultimately failed. A month and a half ago, I brought it in and they were very friendly, determined it was an issue with the radio and had to ship it to Pioneer. A month and a half later, still no radio. I've called Long Radio twice and I get no info. Basically "it's waiting on parts" but no timeframe, nothing. It could be a week it could be a year but let's blame Pioneer.
They're a Pioneer dealer yet they seem to have no recourse or escalation path with that company. And instead of stepping up to try to help a customer who supported a local small business, they pass the blame and it's me, the customer who gets screwed. Heck, had they had an open box unit they could have thrown in the gaping hole in my dashboard temporarily, it may have turned into another sale for them as I am shopping around for a stereo for another one of my vehicles. But no effort on their part. They could have offered to put the factory unit back in until I got something but nope again too much effort.
At this point, I feel as though I've gotten screwed by them so my recommendation is buyer beware. If things goo smoothly, you're probably fine, but if you have an issue, you're out of luck apparently. They got their money, they no longer care.
