Great to work with start to finish:
We called and received in-home estimates from three heating & a/c contractors. Maki was the least expensive and in my opinion the best. Rich did a fantastic job explaining our various options and was great to work with start to finish. The crew was awesome. They arrived right on time, were very professional, courteous and efficient (finishing in less time than expected), and left the premises in a clean and tidy fashion. We love our new furnace and look forward to working with Rich and his crew for regularly scheduled maintenance. I would highly recommend them to a friend.

do your homework:
I have used them in the past and found Maki to be competitivley price and VERY professional. they came out for a problem with the furnace ,found it was just a fuse and did not even charge .I am having a whole house humidifier installed by them and they had the best price out of 3 for the same equipment..They tell you upfront what it will cost so why you wwould be surprised by your bill is a mystery.I highly Recomend Maki

Price Gouging:
I can't complain about their Tech Dan he was very nice, what I am mad about is the raping I took on a hot surface ignitor replacement. As luck would have it our furnace went out in the middle of the night before Thanksgiving. Due to the holiday I did expect to pay a premium for someone to come to my house to fix the furnance. The service call was $100.00 ok I'll pay that after all it is Thanksgiving day morning. It was below freezing something had to be done. But to be charged $220 dollars for the hot surface ignitor I feel like I was raped. I have found the part on the internet from over 30 different sources for a price ranging from $19.95 to $39.95. The install is a 15 minute job and is simple unplug and plug. Then on top of the that I was charged $80.00 for a 10 minute cleaning job. I did aggree to that but still that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I give high marks to Dan for doing a complete inspection of my furnace and securing a loose heat shield. Total outlay for the service call was $400.00 dollars. I am inclined to stop payment on the check and file a complaint with the better busines bureau in Lake County IL. The price for coming out and the cleaning fair enough but not the $220 for the ingnitor. I will never use them again. I will actively use every resource I can find to rate them poorly for over charging on parts. I should have known better this was after I was charged more than $3000.00 for a $450.00 furnace that was installed in my rental house. Please buyer beware. I will not use them again.

Fast friendly sevice at its best.:
Our central air was out and it was 83 degrees on a saturday morning.
I gave Maki a call and within the hour they sent a tech named Dan out. He trouble shot the problem and within the hour he had it up and running.Dan was very polite and took the time to tell us what the problem was.5 stars to Dan and Maki and associates.
If I ever need help again they have my business.
I highly recomend them. William W.

Information from the business

There's a lot about indoor air quality that you might not know and certainly can't see. Up to 72 trillion microscopic irritants, or allergens, find their way into your home every day. They include dust, pollen, pet hair and dander, dust mites, mildew, lint, fungus, most tobacco smoke, cooking grease and bacteria. Many of these particles are so small that your nose and throat can't filter them...
